Qualifications

  • CeMAP Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice

    The industry benchmark qualification for mortgage advisers, recognised as a mark of excellence and professionalism. Individuals attain the required understanding of mortgage policy and practice and how to effectively apply this when advising a customer.

  • CeRER Certificate in Regulated Equity Release

    This qualification develops an extensive understanding of the environment, products available and the circumstances where equity release is an appropriate solution for the customer.

  • R07 Advanced Mortgage Advice

    Advanced Mortgage Advice (R07) develops knowledge and understanding of the key elements of the mortgage process, specialist types of mortgage lending and to test candidates' ability to give appropriate mortgage advice to clients with complex needs and circumstances.

I joined Mortgage Medics in March 2022 as client and adviser support and transitioned into the adviser role. Advising on clients’ mortgage and protection needs.

The proudest moment of my career to date came when I sat down for my first-ever appointment. I had the realisation that I was helping people achieve a huge goal.

The three things I love most about my job are office fun, helping my clients, and my colleagues.

In 2017, I moved to Brighton from Dorset, where I worked in an estate agency and completed my qualifications to become a mortgage adviser.

I love to socialise with friends and family and often make trips back to Dorset for this.

I’m a keen cook and enjoy baking. Skiing is another huge passion.

Spending time with friends and family, usually at the pub.

My favourite holiday destination is:

The French Alps or a secluded beach.

My favourite song to play in the car is:

‘Do Not Disturb’, Mahalia.

If I could be any fictional character, I would be:

Mary Poppins.

If I could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, I would win a medal in:

Car repairs.

When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for:

Anything lemon.

The three qualities that draw me to new people are:

A good sense of humour, kindness, and loyalty.

My pet peeve is:

People talking over others.

The best gift I’ve ever received is:

A puppy.

The three people at my dream dinner party would be:

Bawo, Tom Hardy, and Blake Lively.

The three small things that make my day better are:

My colleagues, any plans I’ve made for the evening, and food.

Things I haven’t done so far include:

A bungee jump or a skydive.
